The MedEmporion Food Market Festival will take place in Genoa from the 16th to the 18th of September 2011. The most typical squares and quarters of the city will host different markets and activities in a quaint and charming atmosphere.
Visitors and tourists, who will go around the historical centre, will find and know the Genoese and Mediterranean typical products and also their colours and flavours.
In the occasion of the MedEmporion Food Market Festival will be opened the Market of Carmine and the Regional Winery: a typical old building of the XIX century was reorganized and it will become “the house of the Genoese products” and an opportunity of promotion.
Tasting and food laboratories, workshops and children activities will be organized to function as experiential approaches. Thanks to the Street Food, visitors and tourists will appreciate other typical products of the Genoese and Mediterranean tradition.
Exhibitions and music activities will enhance this important event.
